“2015 Malcomson Medallist”
The Malcomson Medal was introduced in 1998 to recognise a player who has performed at his/her best both on and off the field. It is the Club’s highest Player Award and recognises all aspects of the way a player has conducted himself/herself. Attitude, Leadership, Attendance, Ability and Sportsmanship are key factors in this award.
The Medal is to honour the contribution to our club, of long time Dragons Junior Football Coach, Mr. Jack Malcomson. Jack coached over 200 games for the Club and was a stickler for junior footballers to always look, behave and play in the true spirit of our great game. “Through Football Better Citizens”. He also composed the Richmond Club song, which the Dragons have now adopted as their own in his honour.

For excellence in Coaching Standards and achievements.
Simon has coached this year’s U15 side for the past 2 years. During this time Simon has developed into a well-respected coach by his players and their parents. Simon’s commitment and willingness to further his players knowledge of the game and his club first mentality is greatly appreciated by the club.
Congratulations to the following Club member who has shown outstanding service and dedication to the Club.
There just aren’t enough Club Awards to go around each year, so would like to take this opportunity to thank those who deserve more than a passing mention for their great work and dedication to the Club.
